Life is Good. Wonderful folks raised me. I’ve been blessed with a good education, graduating from UC Berkeley, and am grateful for my opportunities to travel in Asia and around North America.

When I was a kid, my folks took me on camping trips to many National Parks. I loved the natural beauty and adventure of camping. Finally, when they drove us to Yosemite National Park, my life changed forever. When our car exited the tunnel and Yosemite Valley exploded into view, I was absolutely stunned…breathless with awe. I was only a young kid and that inspiration was a new and profound experience for me, like falling in love for the first time.

I resolved to find a way to live in Yosemite forever. I even majored in Environmental Planning and Management at UC Davis for a few years, hoping to become a naturalist. Many years later, when I was 20 years old, I got a job in Yosemite. For 25 years I've left only briefly to complete school and travel. For many years I was the Concessionaire’s Manager of Employment and Employee Housing for the Southern End of Yosemite. That job was downsized after the 1997 floods cut my employer’s revenue sharply, washing away many hotel rooms.

Now I’m free. I photograph beauty, write, design basic web pages like this one, and freelance at fun. I love Rockclimbing. You can read about my adventures on my climbing site. I also host the Nature art work of my friend Susan Joy. I’m also very grateful for the support of the folks who enjoy my work.

I think it’s important to search for peace, love and truth. Perhaps the meaning of life is along the way. Living in beauty helps me on the path. I hope that joy lights your path and that you find what you are looking for.
